Cameron Pollack

Hey!

I'm Cameron, nice to meet you! I'm a photo editor, photographer and illustrator at The Wall Street Journal, where I cover national and political news. I like to photograph uniquely American things, gatherings of all sorts, and the occasional good dog.

I'm a graduate of Cornell University, where I studied American Government, focusing on carceral politics. I also am a graduate of the Kalish and Eddie Adams Workshops, and completed internships with the Boston Red Sox, NPR, the Detroit Free Press and The Philadelphia Inquirer.

My photography has been recognized by American Photography and the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA). In 2025, my WSJ colleagues and I were recognized by the NPPA as the best photo editing team in the nation. I've also served as a contest judge with the Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar, and a portfolio reviewer at the International Center of Photography and Northern Short Course.
